How it works

  1. Call First Care Consults

Tell us what's going on in your own words. There's no form to fill out first.

  2. Share some basic information

A short prescreening conversation about your situation, your location, and what kind of care you're looking for.

  3. Get help connecting with a clinic

If a participating clinic may be appropriate, we help you take the next step. The clinic decides whether it can treat you.

Prescreening is not a diagnosis, treatment, or a guarantee of acceptance or treatment.

Questions people ask

  • Is First Care Consults a doctor's office?
No. First Care Consults is not a medical clinic and does not diagnose or treat anyone. We explain what care participating clinics offer and help you take the next step.
  • What does it cost to call?
Calling us to ask questions costs nothing. What a clinic charges, and what your insurance covers, is something to confirm with that clinic.
  • Will you tell me what is wrong with me?
No. Only a clinician who evaluates you can do that. We can help you understand what kinds of evaluation and care exist.
