Accessibility

This site is built for people who may be reading it on a phone, with glasses on, while in pain. Here is what that means in practice.

What we have done

  • Body text is 18px or larger everywhere, and the site respects the text size set in your browser.
  • Every text and background pair has been measured for contrast. All of them meet WCAG AA; most meet the stricter AAA level.
  • You can pinch and zoom. Nothing on this site blocks it.
  • Buttons and links are at least 48 pixels tall, with space between them.
  • Nothing moves, animates, auto-plays, or rotates.
  • Nothing important is hidden behind hovering, so touch and keyboard work the same as a mouse.
  • Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, and the focused element is always clearly outlined.
  • A “Call now” button is on every page, and it is a real phone link — one tap dials us, with nothing in between and no check to pass.
  • That button reads “Call now” rather than printing the digits, so the number itself is not written on the page. Your browser can still copy it from the link, and if you would rather have it read out or written down, ask us on the call or use the callback form and we will ring you.

What we are aiming for

Our target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We have built to that standard, and an independent audit is still pending — so we are describing our target rather than claiming certified conformance.

If something doesn’t work

Call us and tell us. If a page is hard to read or use, that is a problem with the page, not with you, and we want to know.

Awaiting legal review before launch

Spec §14 requires a professional to review this page. These sections are deliberately unwritten rather than drafted:

  • A full audit against WCAG 2.2 Level AA by a third party
  • Testing with real screen-reader users, not just automated tools
  • The contact route for accessibility problems, once the phone number is approved
